Proposed shoot with Rolling Stones on a riverboat on the Thames. The original shoot was supposed to have the Stones with Tower Bridge and London in the background but Mick Jagger never showed up, and so the boat never even left Westminster Bridge.

Documenting the north and south banks of the Thames for the Port of London Authority. Images to be used in a promotional brochure on the proposed changes over the next twenty five years.

“Harpers & Queens magazine rang me up and said ‘We’d like you to take some photographs of some Maltesers’, and I thought I’m not shooting sweets! I went back later on and they had plane tickets and stuff and had been joking. They wanted me to go to Malta and shoot all the well to do people out there for a big feature. It was my first job abroad.”
