Various promotional photography for a hotel group in London, including Carlton Towers Hotel. The brief required pack shots of the rooms etc and Howard suggested they get some business people having meetings and young couples shopping aswell. The shots became more about lifestyle than the actual rooms. The adverts and brochures were very successful.

‘Style Setter’ experiment photographs for a lingerie catalogue. These innovative shots were taken through a large key hole shaped mask. Jack Buss and Peter Peck, Howard’s bosses, were horrified at the suggestion that a lingerie catalogue would be shot in a perverted ‘peeping tom’ style.

Projected light experiments with Beverley Downey and Mark Steele

Howard and Kathy borrowed some lingerie from Bradleys of Knightsbridge for a test shoot. When the photographs were printed Howard showed them to the owner who asked to buy them for her catalogues.
